In recent times, Maton has produced a number of beautiful instruments to mark milestone occasions. Most recently, there was the Vera May centenary model last year to celebrate the 100th birthday of Maton matriarch Vera May, wife of Maton founder Bill May. In 2016, Maton gave us a gorgeous 70th anniversary Edition Dreadnought.
This year Maton presents the traditional shaped 75th Anniversary Diamond Edition guitar, featuring blackwood back and sides, figured Queensland maple neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, with sitka spruce face. The headstock features a distinctive 7-piece diamond pearl decal.
