Italian Marco De Virgiliis who studied as a electronic engineer launched Markbass in 2001 after many years of working with such companies as Ernie Ball. The Markbass brand is best known for its Little Mark series of amps and also offers a variety of other bass amps,cabs, guitar amps, cabs as well as a line of effects pedals. Using neodymium speakers and other material Marco was able to dramatically reduce the weight of his bass amp combos and cabinets and this become a game changer for the worlds bass players.
