Featuring two patents, (ISF and DPR), the Series One has been a dominant force in the rock and metal scene for nearly two decades, used by some of the biggest artists in the world. Enter Series One MK II; a refined and streamlined range designed as the ultimate modern flagship amplifier and cabinet, tailored specifically for the needs of today’s metal guitarists. This evolution of the range marks a significant leap forward in high gain, high performance amplification, with the 4 channel Series One 100 MK II taking centre stage—a high-gain powerhouse engineered for crushingly tight rhythm tones and thick saturated leads, devoid of the unwanted fizz often present in other designs.

This juggernaut of an amplifier boasts over 30 circuit modifications and voicing tweaks from its predecessor, resulting in what we confidently assert to be the zenith of high-gain amplification for metal guitarists today.

The Series One 412 PRO A/B MK II cabinets, ideal companions to this sonic weapon, feature custom-voiced Celestion Vintage 30 speakers exclusive to Blackstar and a special baffle construction for a more balanced mid-range response.

Combined with these sonic enhancements, we’ve also overhauled the cosmetic so that the
Series One MK II emerges with a more assertive, rugged, and contemporary look that commands attention on stages of any size.

• Blackstar’s patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) on all channels. Unique to Blackstar products, this control can take you from a more ‘American’ sounding amp all the way through to a classic ‘British’ amplifier and anywhere in-between.
• Blackstar’s patented DPR (Dynamic Power Reduction) allows continuously variable power reduction down to 10 Watts, so you can use your valve amp in any playing situation and achieve pure valve output distortion and compression at any volume. DPR is a unique ‘dynamic’ circuit, delivering the exact compression (a.k.a. sag) of a small overdriven valve amp, at any volume level. The power is reduced – the feel, tone and reliability of the amplifier is maintained.
