Description
Last year Suhr introduced the Suhr Oso, a fresh take on a short-scale design that evolved into something uniquely its own. Inspired by the simple, raw character of some of John’s first guitars and the captivating vibe of the Aura, John designed the Oso to blend old-school charm with modern precision. This year, Suhr introduced the Oso to the Suhr configurator with limited options, allowing you to build your own Oso of your dreams. These 8 configurations were chosen by John Suhr and the team here at Suhr to give you an example of the possibilities when building your own.
The Suhr Oso: The spirit of simplicity, where timeless design meets unmatched playability.
Classic by Design. Modern by Nature.
The Oso continues to evolve with three solid-color models finished in Black, Gold, and White. Each model features its own unique combination of woods, pickups, and specifications while sharing the familiar feel and performance of the Suhr 2-post bridge. Designed to offer a range of voices and personalities, these instruments bring classic aesthetics together with modern Suhr craftsmanship.
Every Top Tells a Story.
The figured maple top Oso models take their cues from the golden age of boutique guitar building, where exceptional woods, elegant finishes, and meticulous attention to detail defined the instrument. Each model features a premium figured maple top paired with its own unique tonewood recipe and specification set, allowing the character of the wood to shape both the visual identity and voice of the guitar. Finished in rich transparent colors that highlight every contour and flame, these instruments are designed for players who appreciate the refinement, individuality, and craftsmanship traditionally found only in the finest custom-built guitars.
